Emma Bright Honored with NFCA Golden Shoe Award

Anoka-Ramsey Softball player Emma Bright earned the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Golden Shoe Award as the NJCAA DIII top baserunner.

Bright stole 52 bases on the season without being caught a single time.  She registered 15 games with multiple stolen bases including a season-high four against Rochester.

Emma also had the fourth-highest batting average in the nation at .593, was third in runs scored (72), fifth in base hits (83), and sixth in on-base percentage (.626).

Bright was named NJCAA First Team All-America in 2022, and also won the Golden Shoe Award for the 2021 season.
