The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Softball team endured a couple of tough back to back days on Monday and Tuesday, 4/25 and 4/26.
On Monday, 4/25, the Golden Rams lost a non-division game to the UNW - JV by a score of 7-5.
It appeared that the team was on their way to a victory heading into the bottom of the 5th with a 5-1 lead, but then UNW roared back with a 6-run inning highlighted by a 3-run homerun.
Anoka-Ramsey left 11 runners stranded on base which ended up being too much to overcome.
Leading the team at the plate were Alexus Martin-Warren (SO, Andover) who had 3 hits, 3 RBI's and 2 doubles and Rebecca Liebelt (SO, Columbia Heights) who also accumulated 3 hits.
Tuesday, 4/26, saw the #7 ranked Golden Rams travel to Waite Park to face the #5 ranked and division leading SCCTC Cyclones, only to see the Cyclones win both games by scores of 1-0 and 11-0.
Anoka-Ramsey's record now stands at 21-16 overall and 10-4 in MCAC Southern Division play.
The Golden Rams will travel to Worthington on Friday, April 28 to face the Blue Jays from MN West.
