Anoka-Ramsey Community College Softball player Quincy Gross earned MCAC Southern Division Pitcher of the Week honors for her performance in the Golden Rams' wins last week.

Gross had two complete game wins and also earned a save in a third game during the week.

The Golden Rams defeated M|State Fergus Falls on April 4th with Gross pitching seven innings, scattering four hits and allowing just two runs while striking out 12 batters.

In the second game of a double-header vs. Fergus Falls Gross came in to earn the save by pitching 1 and 2/3 innings striking out three.

In Anoka-Ramsey's 6-1 win over Central Lakes on April 8 Gross threw another complete game allowing just three hits to go with 16 strikeouts.

For the season Gross is averaging 12 strikeouts per seven innings pitched and has a team-best 3.86 ERA.

The Golden Rams are 14-10 overall and riding a 12 game winning streak.

They will host nationally ranked St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Tuesday, April 11 at 3pm and 5pm in a key conference matchup.
