Softball Drops Three Games

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Softball team dropped three games on March 10 against high level teams on their Flordia trip.

In game one, the Golden Rams fell 12-0 to Parkland College.

The Golden Rams recorded just four hits and committed three errors.

In game two, Anoka-Ramsey fell 10-1 to Spoon River.

Fielding again was a concern as Anoka-Ramsey had five errors.

Shannon Olson went 2 for 3 at the plate and Lindsey Swanson drove in the only run for the Golden Rams in the top of the first inning.

In game three, Anoka-Ramsey again fell 12-0, this time to Lincoln Trail.

The Golden Rams had two hits.

"We knew coming into today that the competition we were going to face was going to be very good", said Head Coach Dave Alto. " We did some things well and found other areas where we must get better. All in all, it was a great experience."
