Men's Basketball Drops Third Straight Game

The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Basketball team dropped their third straight league game, 79-74 to Ridgewater on Wednesday evening.

A tightly contested game throughout, the Warriors used a 10-3 spurt midway thru the second half to give them cushion over the Golden Rams.

Anoka-Ramsey pulled back within two points on two different occasions, and trailed by one with 14 seconds to play, but timely free throw shooting from Ridgewater held off an Anoka-Ramsey comeback.

Ridgewater held a 20-5 edge in made free throws and outrebounded Anoka-Ramsey 42-34.

Raijad "Ray" Lee scored 14 points for Anoka-Ramsey.

Micah Adkins also added 14 points, with Chaz Franklin (12) and Tearrel Fields (10) reaching double figures.

Anoka-Ramsey falls to 10-11 overall and into a three way tie for fourth in the division at 4-4.

Next up is a trip to Minnesota West on Saturday.
