The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Basketball team held Rochester to just 30.5 percent shooting in coming away with a 59-49 win at Rochester on Wednesday evening.
In a defensive battle for both teams, the Golden Rams led 23-19 at halftime as neither team could get many open looks at the basket.
The second half was a similar story as the teams fought for every possession with neither team able to take full control until the final minutes when Anoka-Ramsey got some key shots and defensive stops to earn the win.
Anoka-Ramsey made 37.3 percent of their field goals but made six threes to just three for Rochester.
Justin Castro scored 20 points on 7 of 13 shooting to go with eight rebounds.
Jalen Dunlap added ten for the Golden Rams.
Anoka-Ramsey improves to 14-10 overall, 7-4 in the MCAC Southern Division.
