Five Golden Rams Earn MCAC Honors

The Anoka-Ramsey Baseball team had five players recognized by the conference for their performances during the 2023 season by being named to the All-Central Division team as voted on my the league coaches.

Jeremy Brown was named 1st Team All-Central Division as an infielder after batting .402 on the season with a .637 slugging percentage (10th in the MCAC).  Brown led the Golden Rams in numerous offensive categories including hits (41), doubles (10), home runs (4) and RBI (29).

Jacob Contreras was named 2nd Team All-Central Division as an infielder batting .333 with 29 hits and 17 RBI.

Patrick Brey was named 2nd Team All-Central Divison as an outfielder after batting .304.

Wyatt Doubler was named 2nd Team All-Central Division as a pitcher with an ERA of 2.62 (5th in the MCAC), striking out 43 batters, and having a 11.27 K/9 innings average (7th in the MCAC).  Doubler had a .245 opponent batting average on the mound.

Josh Stoll was named 3rd Team All-Central Division as a pitcher with a 2.58 ERA (4th in the MCAC), striking out 37 batters and allowing a .297 opponent batting average.

The Golden Rams finished the season 10-21 overall.
