• The Golden Rams struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Riverland Community College, giving up nine runs.
• Brayden Buttweiler took the loss for Anoka-Ramsey. The southpaw lasted four innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out six and walking one.
• Luis Nunez started the game for Riverland Community College and earned the win. The bulldog went six innings, allowing two runs on eight hits and striking out two
• The Golden Ram's ten hits included multiple hits from Landon Seibel and Bryce Norby.

Anoka-Ramsey goes down on final play against Riverland

• Anoka-Ramsey Community College fell to Riverland Community College 3-2 on Tuesday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at two with Riverland batting in the bottom of the seventh when Tony Ciola singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and securing the walk-off win for Riverland.
• The pitching was strong on both sides. Riverland Community College pitchers struck out nine, while Anoka-Ramsey Community College sat down eight.
• Riverland Community College fired up the offense in the first inning when Jeremy Vega doubled in a run.
• In the top of the fifth inning, Anoka-Ramsey tied things up at two when Blake Ramberg singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
• Andrews Betancourt pitched Riverland Community College to victory. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out nine.
• Dillon Stai took the loss for Anoka-Ramsey Community College. The righthander surrendered one run on two hits over two-thirds of an inning.
• Bryce Norby started the game for Anoka-Ramsey. The righty lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out eight.
• Ramberg, Norby, Derek Heldman, and Patrick Perreault each collected one hit to lead Golden Rams
