Baseball Pulls Out Win over Mesabi Range

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Baseball team pulled out a win over Mesabi Range by a score of 6-4 on Sunday avenging an earlier defeat to the Norseman.

With the game tied 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth, Ryan Lust hit a sacrifice fly to drive in the go-ahead run.

Lust's hit was part of a three run fifth inning that put the Golden Rams ahead for good.

Mesabi had tied the game at 4 apiece by scoring three runs in the top half of the fifth inning in part due to a Golden Ram error.

Parker Janske earned the win for Anoka-Ramsey by pitching seven innings and giving up four runs.  Mesabi managed just one hit but benefitted from three Golden Ram errors.

Mesabi Range also committed three errors for the game.

Jake Bloomstrand drove in one run going 1-2 with a walk.

Jake Hansen went 3-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
