On Friday, March 10, Anoka-Ramsey Softball dropped their 1st games in Florida to NJCAA Division II schools. The team then bounced back the next day by going 3-0 with a doubleheader win over Central Lakes and a win over NJCAA DIII #6 ranked Rowan Gloucester.
"I thought we played pretty well our 1st day despite the outcomes of each game. We just made a costly mistake or two at the wrong time, and a good team will make you pay for those mistakes," said Head Coach Dave Alto.
Saturday, March 11, saw the Golden Rams play two familiar opponents. They swept a doubleheader against Central Lakes 9-6 and 14-7. The team then beat a very tough team out of New Jersey, Rowan Gloucester 8-7.
