Emma Bright, Sunny Strait Earn NJCAA All-American Honors

Anoka-Ramsey Softball players Emma Bright and Sunny Strait continue to rack up post-season awards for their performance during the 2022 season.  A day after being named National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Americans, both were named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) First Team All-Americans.

Both players ranked highly in NJCAA statistics during the season.  Bright finished fourth in batting average (.593), second in stolen bases (52), and sixth in on-base percentage (.626) as an outfielder.  Strait was second in RBI (88), sixth in home runs (6), fourth in doubles (19), and was seventeenth in ERA (3.00) while playing both infield and pitcher.

The Golden Rams won a school-record 33 games and finished as the NJCAA Region XIIIA runner-up.
