Anoka-Ramsey Community College Falls To Williston State College After Fifth Inning Score

 Anoka-Ramsey Community College stayed in it until the end, but Williston State College pulled away late in a 7-5 victory on Friday. The game was tied at four with Williston State College batting in the bottom of the fifth when Logan Warkentin homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College captured the lead in the second inning when Mike Schroer doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College tallied four runs in the second inning. Bryce NorbyDrew Jones, and Schroer all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Kobe Fredland pitched Williston State College to victory. The fireballer lasted three innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out eight. Dan Conway threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Conway recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Williston State College.

Landon Seibel took the loss for Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Seibel surrendered three runs on four hits over three innings.

Drake Bakkum started the game for Anoka-Ramsey Community College. The righthander went three innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and walking one Rylan Penner started the game for Williston State College. The hurler surrendered four runs on five hits over three innings, striking out five

Anoka-Ramsey Community College racked up eight hits. Derek Heldman, Norby, and Schroer all had multiple hits for Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

Rough Day At The Ballpark For The Golden Rams

Anoka-Ramsey Community College fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 21-0 loss to Bismarck State College on Friday.

The Golden Rams struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Bismarck State College, giving up 21 runs.

Bismarck State College fired up the offense in the first inning, when Leapaldt tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

A single by Wyatt Doubler in the third inning was one of the few positives for Anoka-Ramsey.

Ben Kleinnecht was credited with the victory for Bismarck State College. He went one inning out of relief, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out one and walking one. Jacob Hendrickson also threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Drew Jones took the loss for the Golden Rams. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings striking out five and walking one.

Marcos Palacios started the game for Bismarck State College. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out two

Drake Locklear and Doubler each collected one hit to lead the Golden Rams.
