Saturday's game against Rochester Community and Technical College was a heartbreaker for Anoka-Ramsey Community College, as they lost the lead late in a 3-2 defeat. The game was tied at two with RCTC batting in the bottom of the sixth when an error scored one run for Rochester.
The pitching was strong on both sides. RCTC pitchers struck out four, while Anoka-Ramsey sat down three.
Anoka-Ramsey got on the board in the second inning when Mike Schroer homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
