Volleyball Drops Final Two Home Matches

The Anoka-Ramsey Volleyball team wrapped up the home portion of their schedule last weekend, falling 3-0 to both Rochester and Western Tech.

The Golden Rams couldn't match the firepower of the #2 ranked team in the country, as the Yellowjackets prevailed 25-11, 25-13, 25-9.

Rochester swept the MCAC regular season with an unblemished record.

Megan Simmons recorded eight kills.

Anoka-Ramsey followed up Friday's match by sticking with Western Tech for much of the contest, before ultimately falling 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

Simmons had ten kills and Ali Koel had 15 assists.

Amanda Ritchie played tough defense with 15 digs.

Anoka-Ramsey is now 3-19 overall and will wrap up their season on the road against Crown College on October 28.
