The Anoka-Ramsey Volleyball team put in an inspired performance, but ultimately fell to Ridgewater 3-0 by scores of 25-7, 25-23, 25-23.
The Golden Rams struggled in the first set, but held a lead late in both the second and third sets before Ridgewater rallied.
Marcale Palm led Anoka-Ramsey with seven kills.
Amanda Ritchie and Natiesha Nelson each had seven digs.
The Golden Rams fall to 1-15 overall and will travel to Minnesota West and Riverland for two weekend matches.
