Volleyball Picks Up First Win of the Season

The Anoka-Ramsey Volleyball team picked up their first win of the season, and first in nearly three years, with a 3-0 victory over Riverland on Saturday afternoon.

The win is also the first for new head coach Brandon Bader.

Janele Anderson and Natiesha Nelson each had seven kills in the match, with Anderson also having a .235 hitting percentage.

Marcale Palm led the team with a .333 hitting percentage.

Setter Ali Koel had 20 assists.

The Golden Rams improve to 1-5 overall and will host Century College on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:30pm.
