The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Volleyball team dropped their first home match of the season 3-0 to #9 ranked St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Wednesday evening.
The Golden Rams started slow and fell 25-8 in the first set.
Set 2 had a promising start as the Golden Rams jumped ahead 5-0 forcing an early Cyclone timeout.
But St. Cloud Tech regrouped to win 25-15.
Anoka-Ramsey once again put up a valiant fight in the 3rd set taking an early lead that they extended to 20-13.
St. Cloud would respond just like they did previously and rally to win the set 25-23.
Anoka-Ramsey falls to 0-7 and will host a tournament on Saturday, September 9th with three courts going at once. Game times on all three courts are 9:00am, 11:30am, and 2:00pm.
