The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Volleyball team lost to Northland and Rainy River in the Anoka-Ramsey tournament September 10.

In shortened matches, the Golden Rams fell 25-22, 25-22 to Northland despite leading the first set 22-20.

Serving well for Anoka-Ramsey was Khamilla Vang who was 8 for 8.  Katelyn Wicks was 7 for 7 with one ace, and Lexi Jouppi was 6 for 6.

Wicks had ten digs and Ashley Mokamba had six.

Colleen Henckel hit .667 with two kills and no errors, while Britton hit .500 with six kills and no errors.

In their match vs. Rainy River the Golden Rams fell 2-0 by scores of 25-13, 25-15.

Mokamba finished 6 for 6 serving with two aces, Vang finished 5 for 5 with two aces, and Britton finished 5 for 5.

Wicks had eight digs followed by four for Mokamba.

Kayle Welch and Mokamba each hit .333 with Mokamba recording four kills to Welch's two while Britton contributed five kills.
