The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Volleyball team dropped the opening match of their season 3-0 to St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Wednesday evening in Coon Rapids.

Scores were 25-14, 25-17, 25-17.

The Golden Rams completed 91% of their serves with Jasmine Burbank recording two aces, and Khamilla Vang scoring one ace.  Lexi Jouppi had no service errors in the match.

Katelyn Wicks led the defense with eight digs followed by six from Jouppi.

Ashley Mokamba added two blocks.

Colleen Henckel hit .500 with two kills and no errors while Mokamba hit .214 with five kills.

The Golden Rams will next play on Wednesday, September 7 when they host Ridgewater College at 6:30pm.
