Women's Soccer Draws with Rochester; Wins MCAC Title Outright

The Anoka-Ramsey Women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with Rochester on Wednesday evening, and earned the MCAC championship outright.

Liberty Morrice-Bartlett scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute to pull the Golden Rams even.

The match was physical from the outset as both teams have led the MCAC for the entire season, and were playing for home field advantage in the Region XIII tournament.

With the draw, Anoka-Ramsey earned the #1 seed and will host #4 seed Minnesota West in the semifinals on Thursday, October 17th at 4:00pm.

The Golden Rams will wrap up the regular season hosting the St. Scholastica JV on Tuesday, October 15th at 3:00pm.
