Women's Soccer Upends Rochester 4-1

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Women's Soccer team put up four first half goals on their way to a 4-1 rout of Rochester Wednesday afternoon in Rochester.

Lauren Ives scored in the 3rd minute to give the Golden Rams an early 1-0 lead off an assist from Liberty Morrice-Bart.

Kati Beckman followed in the 7th minute with an assist from Avianna McGregor to go up 2-0.

Then Morrice-Bart got in on the goal acction with a penalty kick in the 20th minute before another assist, this time to Genna Swanson in the 27th minute.

Rochester would knock in the lone second half goal as the Golden Rams allowed just three total shots on goal for the game.

Anoka-Ramsey improves to 3-2 overall and will travel to Lake Superior College on September 16th.  The Golden Rams beat Lake Superior in their first matchup 3-0 back on August 27.
