The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Women's Soccer team put in a strong performance in their first conference matchup defeating visiting Lake Superior College 3-0.
The Golden Rams controlled the ball for much of the game, rarely allowing the Ice Hawks an opportunity to find the back of the net while putting pressure on the Lake Superior defense and goalkeeper.
Kati Beckman scored off a free kick while Lauren Ives and Lauren Baurr each scored as well in the contest.
The Golden Rams improve to 2-0 on the season and host Iowa Lakes on Wednesday, August 29 at 4:00pm.
