The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Women's Soccer team overcame a slow start to shut out the Lake Superior Ice Hawks 4-0 in Duluth this weekend.
The teams played to a 0-0 tie at halftime before the Golden Rams went on a scoring binge.
Kati Beckman scored back-to-back goals in the 50th and 51st minutes to break the tie followed by Brittney Streit scoring in the 65th minutes to go up 3-0.
Emerald McGlashan finished off the scoring in the 87th minute for the final 4-0 margin.
Once again, the Golden Ram defense dominated an opponent only allowing one shot on goal. Anoka-Ramsey has yet to allow a goal in a victory this season recording four shutouts.
