Against Bismarck St, Anoka-Ramsey built a 39-27 halftime lead, and led 60-41 after three quarters before the Mystics rallied in the fourth quarter to narrow the gap.
Anoka-Ramsey played stifling defense against the three-point happy Mystics, holding Bismarck St to 26.8 percent overall and just 10 of 47 from the three-point line (21.3 percent).
The Golden Rams countered with 44.3 percent shooting of their own including 8 of 22 from three (36.4 percent).
Four players scored in double figures led by Sydney Hazuga with 18 points. Mariam Alowonie scored 17 on 7 of 11 shooting.
Jada Lussier knocked down 4 of 8 from three for 12 points. Bella Kanz added ten.
O'Ciana Johnson pulled down a team-high ten rebounds to go with eight points.
Anoka-Ramsey had a battle against Joliet on Saturday but pulled out the close win.
