After being named MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week yesterday, Anoka-Ramsey guard Alani Pettis was named the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week for her performance in two Golden Rams wins.

Pettis averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds, 6.5 steals, and 3.5 assists while shooting 66.7 percent from the field last weekend.

In a 102-33 win over the North Central JV, Pettis recorded 25 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and six steals.

She followed up with nine points, 12 rebounds, and seven steals in a 61-56 win over Northland.

The Golden Rams are 4-0 on the season and ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA poll.
