Golden Rams Earn All-League Honors

The Anoka-Ramsey Women's Basketball team placed multiple players on various All-MCAC teams during the 2019-2020 season.

Head Coach Dave DeWitt was named the MCAC Southern Division Coach of the Year in leading the Golden Rams to a 19-7 finish and the regular season Southern Division title.  Anoka-Ramsey finished as the NJCAA Region XIIIA Runner-Up after falling to Western Tech in the championship game.

Charo Nickens was named First Team All-Southern Division as well as First Team All-State for her performance.  Nickens led the Golden Rams with 14.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game while shooting 54.7 percent overall.  Her rebounding average was good for 6th in the MCAC this season and she was 4th in field goal percentage.  Nickens also earned All-Defensive Team honors.

Adaya Sandifer was named Second Team All-Southern Division and Second Team All-State after averaging 12 points per game, and an MCAC-best 6.9 assists per game.

Raiyne Adams was also named Second Team All-Southern Division and Second Team All-State after averaging 11.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game from the guard position.  Adams also earned All-Defensive Team honors.

Chloe Vezies was named Honorable Mention All-Southern Division despite missing six games due to injury.  Vezies shot 36.9 percent from the three-point line, and was 10th in the MCAC in made 3's per game with 2.3.
