Anoka-Ramsey freshman forward Charo Nickens was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for her performance in two Golden Ram victories last week.
CJ averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds in the two contests while shooting 21 for 29 from the field.
In a 64-52 win over Minnesota West Nickens had 16 points and 11 rebounds while making 6 of 8 field goals.
In a 79-62 win over M|State Fergus Falls Nickens had 34 points and 13 rebounds making 15 of 21 field goals.
For the season CJ is second on the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game and leads the team in rebounds (8.8) and field goal percentage (67.9).
The Golden Rams are 19-4 overall, 7-1 in the MCAC.
