Homola Named MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week

Anoka-Ramsey Community College guard Mikayla Homola was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for her performance in the Golden Rams' opening weekend wins.

Homola, a sophomore from Osseo High School, scored 29 points per game to go along with five steals per game while shooting 21-41 overall from the field, including five made 3-point field goals.

In a win over Madison College Homola scored 31 points making 12 of 22 shots and 5 of 13 from the three-point line.

Against Gogebic Homola tallied 27 points on 9 of 19 from the field and 9 of 10 from the free throw line to go with seven steals.

The Golden Rams are 2-0 overall and will travel to Illinois for games against the College of DuPage and Joliet November 16-17.
