The Golden Rams shot 73.3 percent (11-15) in the fourth while holding the Lady Jays to 18.8 percent (3-16) to outscore Minnesota West 25-10 in the final period.

The Lady Jays led 23-13 early in the second quarter but Anoka-Ramsey battled back to within 33-30 with two minutes until half.

Minnesota West appeared to take control of the game in the third period, going up 48-37 with 2:05 to play in the period, but a three from Kaylee Porisch, a layup by Maegan Mckernon, and two Amanda Lindsay free throws allowed Anoka-Ramsey to pull within 50-42 at the end of the third.

The Lady Jays scored first to open the fourth with an 11 point lead, but it was all Anoka-Ramsey from there.

An 8-0 run cut the deficit to three.  Minnesota West went back up six.  A Mckernon layup and Carley Anderson three trimmed the deficit to three again.

From there Mckernon would score again, and following a Minnesota West layup, the Golden Rams allowed just one more point in finishing the game on a 11-1 run to earn the win.

Anoka-Ramsey shot 39.4 percent overall and held Minnesota West to 34.2 percent.

Mckernon scored 20 points and tallied ten rebounds.

Porisch scored 14 points and pulled in 11 rebounds to go with six blocked shots.
