Porisch Named NJCAA DIII Player of the Week

Anoka-Ramsey Community College freshman Kaylee Porisch was named the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week for her performance in two Golden Ram victories last week.

Porisch was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week which made her eligible for the national award.

Porisch averaged 31.5 points, 18 rebounds, and seven blocked shots while shooting 46.4 percent (26-56) overall and 66.7 percent (6-9) from the three-point line.

In a 63-49 win over Western Tech Porisch scored 22 points while adding 18 rebounds and six blocks.

Against Riverland, a 59-40 win, Porisch scored 41 points, pulled in 18 rebounds, and added eight blocks.

For the season, Porisch leads the Golden Rams in points, rebounds, and blocks per game.

The Golden Rams 5-10 overall, 3-0 in the MCAC and will host St. Cloud Tech on Saturday, January 20 at 1:00pm.
