Women's Basketball Recognized by MCAC with Postseason Awards

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Women's Basketball team earned multiple recognitions from the MCAC coaches for their performance this season.

Rashonna Thomas was named to the MCAC All-Southern Division First Team as well as the All-MCAC First Team.  Thomas was also named the Region XIIIA Player of the Year.

Lateah Turmon earned MCAC All-Southern Division Second Team honors as well as All-MCAC Second Team.

Dariel Lipscomb was also MCAC All-Southern Division Second Team and All-MCAC Second Team.

Amanda Lindsay earned All-MCAC Southern Division Honorable Mention honors.

Golden Ram Head Coach Dave DeWitt was named the MCAC Southern Division Coach of the Year.  The Golden Rams finished the regular season winning the Southern Division title and later would win the NJCAA Region XIIIA Tournament to advance to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament March 16-18 in Utica, New York.

The Golden Rams will face Northland Community and Technical College on Thursday, March 16 at 11:00am Central.
