Anoka-Ramsey Men's Soccer player Nils Gulbranson was named the NJCAA DIII Player of the Week for his performance in leading the Golden Rams to the Region XIII title.
Gulbranson scored in the 88th minute of regulation to tie the game, then scored the game winner in extra time as Anoka-Ramsey defeated Riverland and earned a spot in the Midwest District tournament.
Gulbranson also added a goal in the Golden Rams' 7-0 win over St. Scholastica last week.
For the season, Gulbranson leads Anoka-Ramsey with 13 goals and 30 total points.
Anoka-Ramsey is 9-5-1 and has won 7 of their last 8 matches heading into the District tournament.
