Anoka-Ramsey Men's Soccer player Nils Gulbranson was named the MCAC Player of the Week for his performance last week in leading the Golden Rams to the 2019 NJCAA Region XIII Championship.

Gulbranson scored the game-tying goal in the 88th minute to send the game to extra time, then added the winning goal with two minutes left in the second extra time period in Anoka-Ramsey's 3-2 win over Riverland.

For his efforts Gulbranson was also named the NJCAA Region XIII Player of the Year.

Anoka-Ramsey will now play in the Midwest District tournament October 26-27.
