The Anoka-Ramsey men's soccer team travelled to Austin, MN to face Riverland and came away with a decisive 8-2 victory.
The Golden Rams got on the board early with a goal from Nils Gulbranson just seven minutes into the action with an assist from Gabriel Monaighan.
Riverland tied the score in the 25th minute, but Amanuel Bird scored in the 32nd minute for a 2-1 Anoka-Ramsey lead which they would take into halftime.
Bird would connect again in the 46th minute before Riverland struck again to pull within 3-2.
But it was all Anoka-Ramsey from there as Gulbranson scored his second goal, followed by two Monaighan goals.
Felipe Barbosa would add a goal in the 79th minute, followed closely by Carlos Conde finding the back of the net in the 80th minute for the final margin.
