Men's Soccer Plays to 0-0 Tie with Madison

The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Soccer team played a little extra in their opening match to the season, finishing in a 0-0 tie with Madison on Sunday afternoon thru extra time.

Despite the extra 20 minutes of action, and numerous opportunities, neither team was able to find the back of the net in a game that was played as evenly as you can get.

The Golden Rams managed to out-shoot the Wolfpack, getting nine shots on goal to Madison's four.

Anoka-Ramsey had a couple shots narrowly miss off the crossbar and post, and strong play from both GKs kept the game scoreless.

The Golden Rams are 0-0-1 on the season and will play again on Wednesday, August 28 at 4:30pm when the host Dakota County Tech.
