Men's Soccer Signs GK Devan Thompson to Letter of Intent

Anoka Ramsey Men's Soccer is pleased to announce the signing of Anoka High School goalkeeper Devan Thompson for the 2019-2020 season.

Devan comes to Anoka-Ramsey after a successful youth career with Northern Lights, Coon Rapids and is now representing Minneapolis United u18 Premier. Thompson's Minneapolis United team is currently the #1 ranked team in Minnesota and recently won the Men's College Cup Showcase in California and were finalists at the President's Cup in Arizona.

Thompson has been the goalkeeper for traditional Northwest Suburban Conference powerhouse Anoka High School for the last two years.

Head Coach Brady Eichhorn-Hicks: "Devan is a great signing for the Golden Rams and we are very excited to see what he can bring to the team. His leadership, athleticism and command of his box will be real assets for us. He has work to do to unseat our current starter but I certainly wouldn't put it past him, Devan has a huge amount of potential. Anoka-Ramsey is thrilled to bring in one of the most talented local goalkeepers that we've seen in years and we have no doubt that he will be a success here."
