Men's Basketball Drops Third Straight Game, 75-62 to Rochester

The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Basketball team hit a cold spell in the second half, allowing Rochester to pull away for a 75-62 win on Wednesday night.

It's the third straight loss for the Golden Rams who fall to 1-3 in MCAC Southern Division play.

Neither team could take control over the first 25 minutes, but Rochester used a 14 point run over a seven minute span to build a lead the Golden Rams couldn't overcome.

Anoka-Ramsey struggled from the field on the second half, making just 9 of 33 attempts (27.3 percent) and 2 of 13 threes (15.4 percent).

Terrell Fountain scored 16 points for the Golden Rams while adding seven rebounds.

D.J. Pettigrew scored 13 points, with Nashiem Lozier adding ten points and nine rebounds.

Anoka-Ramsey drops to 8-9 overall and will host #5 ranked St. Cloud Tech on Saturday, January 25 at 2:00pm.
