Anoka-Ramsey sophomore forward Nashiem Lozier was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for his performance in three Golden Ram games last week.

Lozier averaged 20.7 point and 11.7 rebounds while shooting 26 of 43 from the field (60.4 percent).

In a 93-87 win over Central Lakes, Lozier tallied 27 points and 13 rebounds, making 11 of 16 field goals and 2 of 4 threes.

In a 107-101 win over Hibbing, Lozier had 26 points and 14 rebounds, again going 11 of 16 from the field.

Against Rainy River, Lozier had nine points and added eight rebounds.

For the season, Lozier leads the Golden Rams in both scoring (19.6) and rebounds (9.1).

Anoka-Ramsey is 4-3 overall.
