Men's Basketball Wins Final Regular Season Game, Post-season on the Horizon

The Golden Rams got a big game from forward Nashiem Lozier who put up 23 points and 12 rebounds as Anoka-Ramsey made a late run to defeat Ridgewater 81-79 on Saturday afternoon.

Anoka-Ramsey fell behind by ten points mid-way through the second half and it looked as though the Warriors would take the game.  But a 10-0 Golden Ram run tied the socre.

Ridgewater responded with seven straight of their own, but the Golden Rams again responded with eight straight to take a one point lead late in the game.

Anoka-Ramsey forced a turnover and Jalen Dunlap made one of two free throws, but Ridgewater's final shot attempt was short.

Anoka-Ramsey shot 50.8 percent overall and won the rebounding battle 34-28.

Justin Castro added 16 points, while Dunlap finished with 14.

Anoka-Ramsey finishes the regular season 16-11 overall, and 9-5 in the MCAC.

The Golden Rams have earned the #3 seed from the Southern Division in the NJCAA Region XIII tournament March 1-3 held at Anoka-Ramsey.

Anoka-Ramsey will face the #2 seed from the North in Mesabi Range on Friday, March 1 at 5:00pm.

The full tournament bracket and pairings will be announced on Tuesday morning.
