Men's Basketball Falls to DCTC, NDSCS

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men's Basketball team dropped their final two non-conference games against NJCAA Division III Dakota County Tech, and NJCAA Division I North Dakota State College of Science this past weekend.

The Golden Rams had previously lost to DCTC by 13 and 9 in earlier matchups, and fell 101-88 this time around.

Jackson Odegard had a season-high 23 points for Anoka-Ramsey making 7 of 11 shots from beyond the three-point line and 8 of 12 overall to go with seven rebounds.

Justin Castro scored 16 points while dishing five assists and grabbing six rebounds.

Jalen Dunlap scored 13 points, and Nashiem Lozier had ten.

 

Against the bigger Wildcats, the Golden Rams fell behind by 24 in the second half before rallying to make the game close in the end.

Castro scored 22 points on 8 of 16 shooting and Dunlap scored 20 points making 3 of 9 threes to go with seven assists.

 

The Golden Rams drop to 7-6 overall and open MCAC Southern Division play on Wednesday, January 7 at St. Cloud Tech.
