Chris Morgan and Kevin Schramm Sign with VCSU

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men's Basketball players Chris Morgan and Kevin Schramm signed letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at Valley City State University in Valley City, North Dakota.

Chris is a sophomore forward from Davenport, IA and averaged 13.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while shooting 52.3 percent overall and 48.7 percent from the three-point line.  Chris was named to the MCAC All-Southern Division team.

Kevin is a sophomore forward from Roseville, MN and averaged 18.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while shooting 47.9 percent overall and 39.3 percent from the three-point line.  Kevin racked up numerous postseason honors including MCAC All-Southern Division, MCAC All-State, All-Region XIII, and Honorable Mention All-American.

They led Anoka-Ramsey to a 19-11 overall record in 2017-2018 winning the MCAC Southern Division and finishing as the Region XIII runner-up.

Both players were also key contributors to the 2016-2017 Golden Rams that finished 28-5, won the MCAC Southern Division, were Region XIII champions, and finished 4th in the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.

Valley City State is a NAIA institution that competes in the North Star Athletic Association.
