The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men's Basketball team was well-represented in MCAC honors which were announced recently.
Head Coach Ron Larson led the Golden Rams to a repeat Southern Division title with a 12-2 division record in being voted the Southern Division Coach of the Year by his peers.
Kevin Schramm was voted to the MCAC All-Southern Division team, as well as the All-MCAC team.
Schramm finished the season averaging 18.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 47.9 percent overall, 39.3 percent from the three-point line, and 75.9 percent from the free throw line.
Chris Morgan was voted to the MCAC All-Southern Division team.
Morgan averaged 13.8 points, and 7.3 rebounds per game shooting 52.3 percent overall and leading the league with a 48.7 percent mark from the three-point line.
Justin Castro was also voted to the MCAC All-Southern Division team.
Castro scored 10.3 points per game to go with 4.7 rebounds and 4 assists (2nd in the division). Castro shot 50.5 percent overall and 40.4 percent from beyond the arc.
