Anoka-Ramsey Community College sophomore guard Malik El-Amin was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for his performance in two Golden Ram victories last week.
Malik averaged 22 points and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 50 percent (6-12) from the three-point line.
In a win over St. Cloud Tech El-Amin scored 13 points on 5 of 8 shooting and 2 of 4 from three while also adding three rebounds and three assists.
In the Golden Ram's win over Minnesota West El-Amin racked up 31 points on 12 of 19 from the field and 4 of 8 from three.
El-Amin leads the Golden Rams in assists with 5.4 per game.

Anoka-Ramsey is 16-9 overall, 11-1 in the MCAC Southern Division and have clinched at least a share of the Southern Division title.
