Game 1
On a cold afternoon, Anoka-Ramsey struggled to get their offense going on getting easily dispatched by Dakota County Technical College, 10-4.
The Golden Rams scored in the second inning, when Dylan Conrad singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run. DCTC took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning.
Jake Hansen took the loss for the Golden Rams. He surrendered eight runs on eight hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one.
Anoka-Ramsey launched one home run on the day, when Jake Hansen put one out in the third inning. Dylan Conrad led the Golden Rams with two hits in two at bats.
Game 2
Anoka-Ramsey fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-1 loss to DCTC on Monday. The Golden Rams struggled to contain the high-powered offense of DCTC.
DCTC got things started in the second inning when they drove in one run on a single. They proceeded to score another five runs in the third inning.
Ben Johnson took the loss for the Golden Rams. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on six hits.
Brydon Hegarty, Thomas Blumer, Jake Hansen, Sam Knight, Brandon Watkins, and Mason Gallagher all had one hit to lead Anoka-Ramsey.
