MN West Prevails over Golden Rams

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Baseball team dropped two to the Minnesota West BlueJays by scores of 9-4 and 9-7.

In game one the Golden Rams fell behind 6-1 after three innings and were unable to recover.

Fielding errors were costly as Anoka-Ramsey committed five errors leading to three unearned MN West runs.

Seven different Golden Rams recorded a hit in the game.

In the second game of the day Anoka-Ramsey scored in each of the first four innings to take a 7-3 lead heading into the 5th inning.

From there it was all MN West as the Golden Rams failed to score while the BlueJays put together two runs in the bottom of the 5th, and four more in the bottom of the 6th.

Once again fielding was an issue as the Golden Rams committed five errors leading to five BlueJay runs.

Parker Janske suffered the loss on the mound despite striking out five batters.
