Baseball Splits with DCTC

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Baseball team earned a 12-4 victory over Dakota County Tech despite allowing three runs in the fifth inning.  

DCTC's big inning was driven by a walk by Cody Gruenhagen, a error, and another walk.

The Golden Rams took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Brennan Beese drove in two runs when he singled.
               
Anoka-Ramsey then scored four runs in the seventh inning. 

The big inning was thanks to a single by Levi Falde, a error, a double by Beese, and a single by Cody Herrmann.
               
Andrew Brown earned the win for Anoka-Ramsey.  He threw four innings, giving up three runs, two hits, and striking out four. 

Daniel Deitz recorded the last nine outs to earn the save.               

The Golden Rams had nine hits in the game with Beese and Herrmann each collecting multiple hits.

The second game of the double-header did not fair as well for the Golden Rams, as they watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-1 loss.                

Dakota County Technical College took an early lead in the first inning.  Marcus Biasatti singled on a 1-2 count in the first inning, scoring two runs.
               
Parker Janske took the loss for Anoka-Ramsey pitching four innings, giving up six runs, nine hits, and striking out three.
               
Levi Falde and Ryan Lust each managed one hit to lead the Golden Rams.
               
Dakota County Technical College had 13 hits in the game.
